Overview

This policy explains what information CD Works LLC, doing business as Tile Collector, collects when you use tilecollector.app, how we use it, and your choices. The short version: we collect what the Service needs to work and we never sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, username, and a hashed password. We never store your actual password.
• Profile details you choose to add, such as a display name, a short bio, when you started collecting, and your favorite makers.
• Your collection and wishlist, once those features launch, including any photos, stories, and notes you add.
• Settings and consent records: your sharing and email preferences, the Terms version you accepted, and when.
• Technical data: server logs and privacy-friendly page-view counts from Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and cannot follow you across sites. A sign-in token is stored in your browser (localStorage) to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, show your collection and profile the way you choose, send the emails you need (such as confirming your address or resetting your password) and the ones you opt into, keep the Service secure, and understand which pages are useful.

What others can see

Your profile, collection, and wishlist are private unless you choose to share them. Your username is visible wherever you post. Stories and photos you share publicly can be seen by anyone.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We use a small set of providers to run the Service: Convex (database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Resend (email delivery). They process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect members and the Service.

Your choices

You can change your profile, sharing, and email settings on your account page at any time. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email hello@tilecollector.app from the address on your account. We keep information only as long as we need it to run the Service or as the law requires.

Children

The Service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
