Packing standards
Tiles chip when they knock together, and cases crack when they ride loose. Every order ships packed for that:
- Tiles wrapped or bagged by row so they cannot rub, with the trays or case filled so nothing shifts.
- The case closed with its latch taped or banded, wrapped, and boxed with at least two inches of padding on every side. Never ship a case on its own.
- Racks, pushers, and dice packed separately inside the same box.
- Mats rolled or folded the way the maker ships them, in a sleeve or box that keeps them dry.
Handling time and tracking
Sellers ship within 3 business days and add a tracking number to the order. The carrier’s delivery scan, not the seller, marks an order delivered: it starts the buyer’s 14-day claim window, and when that closes with no claim the order completes.
If the carrier posts no delivery scan within 10 days of shipment, we treat the order as delivered on day 10 and the 14-day window opens then. If it has not really arrived, file a claim rather than confirming receipt.
Insurance
Insure anything over $100. Until delivery, loss or damage in transit is the seller’s risk, and a lost package is still a refundable “not received” claim.
Damage in transit
Photograph the box and the item before throwing anything away, and file a claim within 14 days. Keep the packing until the claim is settled: carriers need it for insurance.
Where Checkout ships
